Collaboration
WR Davis Collaborative establishes working collaborations with our clients. We clarify mutual commitments, and develop consensus on tasks, deliverables, roles & responsibilities. As an option, we offer Goal Directed Project Management to assist our clients in keeping their projects on task.

Environmental Scanning, Organizational Analysis and Diagnosis
We analyze the organizational or community environment and diagnose client needs. We predefine a quality product & outcomes with our client and create appropriate designs to achieve the intended outcomes.

Event Plans
We develop detailed event facilitation plans using approaches that best fit needs and abilities of the group. We apply a variety of participatory processes and approaches to guide the group to consensus and desired outcomes. We select clear methods and processes that foster open participation with respect for our clients’ culture, norms and participant diversity and adapt the processes to changing situations and needs of the group.

Facilitation
We manage both small and large group process guiding the group with clear methods and processes to appropriate outcomes by establishing clear context for the session, actively listening, questioning and summarizing to elicit the sense of the group, and recognizing tangents and redirecting groups to the task at hand.

We arrange physical space to support the purpose of the meeting, plan effective use of time, provide effective atmosphere and drama for sessions, foster task completion, vary the pace of activities according to needs of group, and observe, assess and communicate group progress and provide feedback to participants.

We identify information the group needs, draw out data and insight from the group and help the group synthesize patterns, trends, root causes, and frameworks for action.

While the processes used are designed to arrive at consensus in ways that don’t engender conflict, if and when group conflict does arise we manage it appropriately. We help individuals identify and review underlying assumptions, recognize conflict and its role within group learning / maturity, provide a safe environment for conflict to surface, and support the group through resolution of conflict. However, we manage disruptive group behavior when it arrises.

As Professional Facilitators we honor the wisdom of the group, encourage trust in the capacity and experience of others, maintain an objective, non-defensive, non-judgmental stance and are vigilant to minimize our influence on group outcomes.

Our methods stimulate and tap group energy, engage the participation of those with varied learning / thinking styles, and encourage creative thinking. We create a climate of safety and trust, encourage positive regard for the experience and perception of all participants, create opportunities for participants to benefit from the diversity of the group, and cultivate cultural awareness and sensitivity.
