Davis Collaborative uses proven and professional processes and practical tools that tap the individual’s and group’s rational, creative, and intuitive wisdom. The facilitation processes and technology used have been created through over 35 years of applied research and development in organizations and communities throughout the United States and the World.
Bill Davis, Principal, has a Master’s degree in enterprise planning from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Policy Planning and Development and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis (UCDavis). He is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF; International Association for Facilitators), a Certified ToP® Facilitator (CTF; ToP®: Technology of Participation), and a Qualified ToP® Facilitation Trainer. Mr. Davis also has a Certificate in Public Participation from the International Association for Public Participation.
He specializes in facilitating strategy development in the arena of Economic, Workforce and Community Development. These strategies are built by establishing consensus among a broad-base of community stakeholders, organizations and leaders.
Formerly Mr. Davis was an Organizational Communication and Project Management Consultant in Silicon Valley, Associate Director USC Center for Economic Development Community Development Design Forum, and Vice President of the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) and Director of the California Academy for Economic Development.
He has experience in facilitating Boards of Directors, organization staff, individuals, corporate executives, inter-agency groups, and community groups of 150 and more. Among the list of organizations he has served in this capacity are the:
